What is Elementor?
Elementor is a tool inside WordPress that lets you build and edit pages easily by dragging, dropping, clicking, and typing — no scary coding required. Think of it like decorating a classroom board: you move pieces around until they look nice.

How to Open Elementor
- Log in to WordPress:
- Go to www.deaneryschool.co.tz/wp-admin
- Enter your username & password.
- On the left menu, click Pages.
- Find the page you want (e.g. About Us) and click Edit with Elementor.
How to Edit Text
- Click directly on the text you want to change.
- A text box opens on the left side.
- Type your new text.
- Use the Bold, Italic, or Link buttons if needed.
- Check your spelling!
How to Change an Image
- Click the image you want to change.
- On the left panel, click Choose Image.
- Pick an image from the Media Library or upload a new one.
- Click Insert Media.
- Make sure the image looks clear and fits nicely.
How to Add New Sections
- Click the + button where you want a new section.
- Choose a layout (1 column, 2 columns, etc).
- Drag widgets (Text, Image, Button) from the left panel into your section.
- Edit each part by clicking it and filling in details.
How to Style a Section
- Click on the section you want to style.
- Use the Style tab (left panel) to:
- Change background color or image.
- Adjust text color and size.
- Add spacing (Padding & Margin).
How to Check Mobile & Tablet View
- Bottom left corner → click the screen icon (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile).
- Check how your edits look on each device.
- Adjust text size or image if needed.
How to Save & Publish Changes
Always save your work:
- Click the green Update button (bottom left).
- Visit the live website to double-check.
Good Habits
- Edit one section at a time.
- Always check spelling, names, and dates.

If You Make a Mistake
- Click Undo (Ctrl + Z works too!).
